This course is a study of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura’s brilliant compilation of selected verses of the Srimad-Bhagavatam. In this course, students will study the translations and purports of Srila Prabhupada to these verses. They will also be able to listen to audio explanation of the points made by Srila Bhaktivinoda and Srila Prabhupada in their commentaries to these verses. The original compilation Bhagavatarka-marici-mala (“A Garland of Rays from the Sunlike Bhagavatam”) was compiled by the Thakura in 1901.
